Pigs 'n' Paws Sanctuary
Pigs ’n’ Paws sanctuary is situated a few kilometers outside of Cullinan, South Africa. We rescue pigs who have been abused, exploited, or discarded. We offer all our pigs love, respect and rehabilitation when needed. We find loving homes for the pigs that are adoptable and offer lifetime refuge and sanctum to those who stay.
Pigs are the flagship species for Pigs ‘n’ Paws – indeed it was a pig who inspired us to start the sanctuary in 2004 and of all animals, they hold a very special significance to us. We are currently the largest pig sanctuary in South Africa being home to more than 324 pigs (01 April 2022) of all shapes and sizes, as well as 3 cows, 20 sheep and a good number of dogs.
Our sanctuary is funded by monthly / once-off donations and pig sponsorships from the public. You can make a difference by sponsoring / donating. Please see below our pigs available for sponsorships. Each sponsorship/donation helps with the monthly animal feed, vet bills and expenses to keep the sanctuary running.
